Most tools on 1tool run entirely in your browser and do not transmit your data to our servers. For server-side features (such as Excel/Data analysis), we may process: - Files you upload (e.g., spreadsheets or CSVs) - File metadata (filename, size, type) - Generated previews (headers and first rows) - Session metadata (a session ID, sheet names, counts) For the Excel analysis tool, tabular data may be imported into our database on a per-session basis to enable analysis. Avoid uploading sensitive or personal data whenever possible.
We use the information you provide solely to deliver the requested functionality, including: - Performing data preview and analysis you request - Improving reliability and user experience - Ensuring service integrity and preventing abuse We do not sell your personal information.
Uploaded files may be stored in our S3-compatible storage to facilitate processing and access (e.g., at storage.1tool.xyz). For Excel analysis, imported tabular data may be stored in our MongoDB database in per-session collections. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit and at rest, but no system is 100% secure.
We minimize the use of cookies. We may use essential cookies that are necessary for site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
To provide our services, we may rely on third parties such as: - Cloud storage (S3-compatible) for file handling - Database services (MongoDB) for temporary data storage - AI model providers (e.g., OpenAI) to process and analyze content you explicitly submit for analysis These providers may process your data on our behalf in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.
We strive to retain uploaded files and imported data only as long as necessary to provide the requested functionality. Automated deletion may not yet be available for all services. If you need data removed, please contact us and include relevant details (e.g., file name, session ID).
